Adams Hendry provided consultancy support to Horsham District Council, acting as Case Officer on behalf of the Council on a number of major planning applications and discharge of condition applications.
The work has involved liaising with applicants, their agents and various interested parties, including internal and external consultees and elected Members, in order to progress applications to determination in a timely and coherent manner.
In doing so, Adams Hendry has been responsible for the preparation of Committee reports and Committee presentations and has liaised with Horsham District Council’s legal representatives in order to prepare associated and often complex, legal agreements.
The work undertaken to date has helped the Council to continue to determine major planning applications within the statutory timeframes, including where it has been necessary to negotiate a formal extension of time.
