On behalf of Cambridgeshire County Council – in their capacity as acquiring authority – Adams Hendry are providing expert planning advice in respect of a claim for compensation arising out of the acquisition of land required to implement the Cambridge Guided Busway Scheme.
Aspects of the work undertaken concern the correct interpretation of a Certificate of Appropriate Alternative Development issued by the relevant planning authority under Section 17 of the Land Compensation Act 1961.
Planning evidence has been prepared in anticipation of the claim being heard before the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber)
