Adams Hendry was appointed by Wiltshire County Council and Swindon Borough Council to act as a facilitator for the Minerals Development Framework Forum. This involved hosting regular forum group meetings, planning for real exercises and establishing an on-line moderated forum. The forum meetings were supplemented by an online resource including background reading and topic papers providing context to the process.
A Members Handbook was prepared for each forum member, which included the Terms of Reference for the Forum and a Members Charter, both of which were agreed at the first meeting. The outcomes from the Forum were used to inform both the development of the Minerals Development Framework and the Statement of Community Involvement.
Adams Hendry was subsequently appointed to act as lead facilitator for the Waste Development Framework Forum.
