Environmental Statement for the continuation of operations at Wingmoor Farm Integrated Waste Management Facility on behalf of Grundon Waste Management Ltd. Gloucestershire County Council as the waste planning authority is currently considering the application.

The site, located in Gloucestershire, is an active mineral and waste operation situated in the Green Belt and includes:
• Extraction of sand, gravel and clay;
• Gravel processing plant;
• Landfill of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes;
• Materials Recovery Facility (MRF); and ,
• Waste treatment plant.

Permission is sought to extend the operational life of the site until 2029. This is necessary to enable Grundon to provide integrated waste management within Gloucestershire, and to help Gloucestershire County Council to meet their landfill and waste processing requirements. The facility also provides treatment facilities for Air Pollution Control (APC) residues to enable them to be safely landfilled at the site.

The facility will have capacity to landfill over 4 million cubic metres of waste during this time, and also to process up to 50,000 tonnes of waste per annum through the MRF. Grundon aims to achieve a 75% recycle rate when the MRF is fully operational.
