Adams Hendry was appointed by Norfolk County Council to review the draft Environmental Statement (ES) and Committee report for an Energy from Waste (EfW) facility in King’s Lynn. The proposed EfW facility had a throughput of approximately 268,000 tonnes of waste per annum that would generate approximately 24MW of electricity gross using residual non-hazardous municipal solid waste (MSW) from Norfolk and provision for some non-hazardous Commercial and Industrial (C&I) waste arisings from local businesses.
