On behalf of Southern Water, South East Water and the then Mid Kent Water, Adams Hendry prepared and submitted representations on drafts of the South East Plan and then secured seats at a number of the regional and sub-regional Examination sessions. Our role included representing the Water Companies’ interests by promoting policies and proposals that will enable critical new infrastructure to be delivered. We also contributed to the debates on the environmental implications arising from the planned levels of housing growth within the region.

Adams Hendry was pleased to secure various amendments to the policy wording in the South East Plan, including specific policy support for strategic new water resource schemes and more general policy recognition of the importance of new water and wastewater infrastructure in the region.
