Adams Hendry worked with Caliburn Homes to secure planning permission from Winchester City Council for the material change of use of a former NHS site on Romsey Road in Winchester to student accommodation.
The application for 23 units of student accommodation was approved by the Winchester City Council Planning Committee, and will provide much needed student accommodation and facilitate the effective and efficient re-use of previously developed land in a highly sustainable location.
Adams Hendry prepared and submitted the planning application for this development, liaising closely with the client, the architects, and the local planning authority and case officer. We also responded to pre-application feedback from members of the public, and presented the case for the proposals and addressed councillor’s queries at planning committee.
