Andrew Burgess has been appointed to the newly created role of Senior Consultant.
Andrew will lead on further developing residential planning services within the company, ranging from initial advice, planning applications and appeals and local plan representations.
He has 30 years experience in planning consultancy and the development industry. He brings with him extensive experience as an expert witness at public inquiries and promoting land for housing development of all types.
Director Emma Barnett said “We are delighted that Andrew has joined Adams Hendry and that he will be able to contribute to the growth of the business.”
Louis Hatchett has joined the company as a planning assistant. Louis has just learnt that he has achieved a first in his degree in Human Geography (BA Hons) from Bath Spa University. In September he will be starting an MSc in Spatial Planning and Development at the University of Reading alongside his role as an Assistant Planner at Adams Hendry. Louis is really enjoying his role at the company, and has already been involved in a number of projects, undertaking tasks including planning history searches, helping to draft planning statements and attending site visits.
Myles Davies is joining us as part of his placement year. Myles has completed three years of his Masters in Planning at Newcastle University and will be spending this year gaining valuable experience within a planning consultancy.
