Farleigh School

Located near to Andover, Hampshire, Adams Hendry secured planning permission for the School for an extension of the school playing fields onto adjacent agricultural land. This enabled the School to increase its playing pitches following an increase in pupil numbers and allow better management of the sports facilities on offer throughout the year. Adams Hendry successfully argued that there was an overriding need for the school playing fields to extend into this area of open countryside having considered a number of alternative solutions and sites to overcome development plan policies in place at the time.
