Welcome to the pages dedicated to the consultation process associated with the planning for waste in Greater Manchester.

I am delighted to have been appointed by the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities, representing the ten districts of Greater Manchester. This commission is to facilitate stakeholder events that will secure community and stakeholder involvement in the preparation of the Joint Waste Development Plan Document for the Greater Manchester area. The outcomes from the events will be used to produce an Issues and Options report that will ultimately feed into the production of the Joint Plan.

It was a pleasure to see so many of you at the recent events.  The Outcomes are attached on the following pages and as you can see the events provoked a great deal of discussion and debate, thanks to the hard work of all the participants.
